NPC & Saudi National Pump (SNP) joint venture created to manufacture column pipe, tube & shaft and assembles vertical turbine pumps to sell to local agricultural markets. Joint Venture lasted until 1996. The operation (SMI) still exists and is a major supplier to NPC today.
